Will call in AM – have meetings after 12 noon. Great, I really like. Only 3 minor changes/corrections: 1. Chp 1, p. 25: Historical or author’s fact above last speaker (B. Hicks) and not speaker’s conversation (note same speaker above and below this fact: “The storytellers born in the 1930s …..” 2. Chp 2, p. 34 for speaker J. Roscoe (next to last speaker on page – Change: ” All the roads around here [Evans] were dirt roads when I was younger. Only one road was wide enough for cars to travel together in both directions.” Eliminate the sentence beginning with “Martinez….” 3. Chp 3. p. 106: (minor point) 2nd full paragraph beginning with “Mrs. Freddie Evans . . . “. The last sentence should read: “her passion for gospel music “WAS” also noted vs. is. Thanks so much! |
